Doing Business Beyond Borders

For The First Time In The Company’s History, Francis-Lau Hosted A Booth At The 2025 Trade And Investment Convention

The 2025 Trade and Investment Convention (TIC), held from July 17–19 at the Centre of Excellence in Trinidad and Tobago, reaffirmed its position as the preeminent business-to-business trade show in the Caribbean. Hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association, TIC 2025 convened a dynamic mix of regional and global corporate leaders, investors, buyers, and policymakers, each seeking opportunities to unlock new partnerships and drive sustainable growth under the theme, “Business Beyond Borders.”

The convention’s multi-sectoral tradeshow floor buzzed with activity, featuring exhibitors offering thousands of products and solutions from more than 35 countries. Attendees benefited from structured networking sessions, expert-led seminars, and bespoke matchmaking services—designed not only to foster growth within local industries but also to accelerate Caribbean integration into the global market. Over its history, TIC has facilitated trade deals worth more than US$900 million.

For the first time in the company’s history, Francis-Lau Construction Company Limited hosted a booth at the Convention, which emerged as a pivotal platform for our forging of new regional business relationships, and as well deepening existing ones. We were part of a significant group of organisations driving economic trade and development throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

We extend our sincerest thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth and met with members of our team! We truly enjoyed your interest and discussions. It was an honour to showcase our proud history and the many ways in which we continue to serve the regional building and construction industry. We look forward to future events and building on the connections that were created.
